Your employment history from 1998 onwards

On the website of the UWV you can view and download your employment history from 1998 onwards. To do this, you log in with your DigiD or eIDAS.

Your employment history prior to 1998

Your employment history prior to 1998 has not been recorded centrally. However, there are a number of things you can do to find out your employment history yourself. See if you have any old documents from that time. For example:

  • Payslips: these may include information about your employment and salary.

  • Annual statements or tax returns: these often include an overview of your income and your employer's details.

  • Bank Statements: your bank statement will usually include the name of your employer when paying your salary.

Contact Old Employers

Do you remember the name of your old employers? Please contact them. They may still have information about your employment history. Or contact colleagues from back then. Many people are often easy to find via Facebook or LinkedIn, for example. Maybe they can help you.

Would you like to know when you accrued pension? Please contact your pension provider(s). Log in for the contact details of your pension administrators.
